Hitting Mats - Tee Boxes - Tee Lines - Sand Bunkers
We have all hit balls on driving ranges that had either mats or a synthetic turf sand filled tee line. The challenge with most hitting mats and previous Tee Box materials has always been the very hard and uncomfortable hitting surfaces. On most mats you can hit an inch behind the ball and because the club slides into the ball you can you not tell whether your shot was good or not - hit it that way on the course and you will take an 8" divot and the ball goes 10 yards. Also, these hard surfaces can result in very painful wrists and elbows after any extended practice.
Eliminate the Problems of Conventional Mats
Our Tee boxes are constructed with turf specifically designed to simulate real grass tees and not to scuff your favorite irons. Either teed up or on the turf, you'll practice good form and contact just like a pro.
Synthetic Turf Tee Boxes and Tee Lines
TargaPro has installed hundreds of feet of Synthetic Turf Tee Lines for Commercial Golf Courses and many Residential Backyard Tee Boxes with the RT990 Tee Turf. For the Home Owner - multiple tee boxes can be placed around your landscaping to take advantage of different looks at the green. For the Commercial Golf installation Tee Boxes can be used on your Par 3 courses and on the Driving Range. If you are a developer - see our Commercial Golf Course Design Page to see how you can put in an amenity that will set your development apart and above the crowd.
This is a wonderful nylon knit turf that does not require a sand in-fill. What this means it that the turf will not compact and will remain soft and playable for years. Iron shots are played with ease and it will take a regular tee; no more rubber tees needed. Use a broom or blower to clean it off - there is no other maintenance required. Visit the Residential and/or the Commercial Golf Gallery to see how the RT990 fits into your residential, commercial or development environment.

Need Bunker Practice?
Bunkers are designed to guard the greens and your green is no different. Bunkers surround parts of the green not only for a beautiful look, but getting out of the sand is one of the most difficult and least practiced parts of the game. With your own Sand Bunker - getting up and down will be easier and your stride toward a buried ball on the course will come with confidence following the practice you can get in your own backyard.
