Description: 

 

Organite™ is an all-natural proprietary composite of organic and inorganicmaterials, which provides an environmentally-friendly, biologically safealternative to recycled tire rubber and/or sand, as an infill in artificialturf. The product granules contain NO synthetic chemicals and, therefore,contain no polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs); butylated hydroxyanisole (knowncarcinogens found in both ambient ground and cryogenically ground recycled-tire-rubber);silica-sand or any other particulate known to cause respiratory irritation.Sand is not permitted as a component of any infill matrix or formulation, incorporatingOrganite™. This infill alternativeeliminates possible exposure to carcinogens; respiratory exposure to toxic orirritant particulate from rubber dust or silica-sand; ingestion of toxicchemicals by children; as well as run-off contamination of the aquifer by the infillmaterials.

 

In addition, every granule of Organite™ is encapsulated with an effective, durable,non-chemical, EPA registered anti-microbial agent*, which protects against and prevents the growth of; bacteria, fungi and mold. The anti-microbial is non-toxic,hypoallergenic, non-sensitizing and non-irritating to human skin. Since the microbe killing mechanism is “mechanical”, rather than by chemical toxicity, it will not wash-off nor is it consumed or dissipated in the execution of its protection.The water-based anti-microbial technology will not leach heavy chemicals into the environment or facilitate the growth of adaptive organisms. Properly installed, Organite™ will continue to provide anti-microbial protection for the stated warranty-life of the properly maintained artificial turf surface.

 

Organite’s lightbrown color and capacity to absorb andretain moisture also make it extremely effective in lowering the surfacetemperatures of artificial turf through evaporative cooling.
