Health, Safety and Environmental Issues

Health, Safety, and the Environment

As a company that installs environmentally sound synthetic turf systems, TargaPro offers design/build capabilities utilizing state of the art components that provide safety, health and environmental alternatives to the problematic offerings of our competitors.  We have introduced the first totally recyclable synthetic turf products - products which are both lead and urethane free and infilled with a chemically bonded anti-microbial infill to meet both health and safety standards.

Supporting ecological responsibility, we focus on such health issues as the bio-related infectious bacterial disease harbored by crumb rubber and rubber/sand mixed infill’s, carcinogen leaching and off gassing, and the heat island affect.  We systematically address these issues and offer tested and documented, cleaner and greener alternatives.

The ability to recycle the entire system is critical to the environment and is dependent upon eliminating the use of both ambient and cryogenic ground crumb rubber and/or silica sand infill’s as well as the urethane backings found on most turfs.

The safety of the system is paramount for all ages, not just with respect to the environment, but also in basic safety issues such as shock absorption (Initial GMax, Ultimate GMax and HIC Values) and performance issues (PMax and Rotational Resistance).   Tests for these safety issues are documented for our systems.

Our installed systems reflect the aspects of comparable safety, viable maintenance savings and sensible pricing. The TargaPro synthetic turf systems obviate concerns about these issues and clearly illustrates that we are -
